Both the staff and clients, commercial partners, and gelato lovers who value PreGel’s products will be involved in the festivities – in other words everyone who has contributed to the success obtained by the company in its past half-century of history.
But that’s not all! PreGel has always been deeply-rooted in the territory of Reggio Emilia, and attentive to Emilian excellences. For that reason, the company has decided to put forth a creative contest focused on artisan gelato to the 4th and 5th year students of “G.Chierici” Artistic High School in Reggio Emilia.
The “Gelato, No ice cream” initiative, devised by PreGel together with the school, aims to involve young students and encourage them to reflect on the importance of artisan gelato as a “Made in Italy” excellence. Plus it also aims at discovering which emotions, memories, and habits these young creative people link to gelato.
In order to do so, in these last months the students have worked on a new gelato-cup graphic layout, which represents what artisan gelato means to them. All the assignments have been appraised by PreGel, who selected the three creative projects that best interpreted the topic. The company will proclaim the winners during Sigep 2017 at PreGel’s booth in Hall C5
The gelato cup graphic layout that stands out the most for its inventiveness and creativity will be printed in limited edition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company. The cups will then be used by PreGel in all international tradeshows and events for the whole year.
And that’s not the end of the collaboration between PreGel and the Emilian high school. The student whose project wins will obtain recognition and the chance to enter the working world for the first time, thanks to an internship in PreGel’s creative department.
