Make your customers sing with “Melody”
On March 24th, Gelato Day is celebrated across Europe— the only day the European Parliament has ever dedicated to a food product. It is an event involving thousands of gelato shops to promote the culture of artisanal gelato as a shared gastronomic and cultural heritage.
The 2026 edition of Gelato Day will be inspired by the Eurovision Song Contest; indeed, gelato is presented as a universal language capable of uniting Europe, just like music. The recipe that will be created by all participating gelato shops is the “Melody” flavor, created by Spanish master gelato maker Juanma Guerrero. It features a creamy and enveloping base, complemented by a pistachio sauce, pistachio crumbles, and a delicate orange sauce, which adds a fresh and bright note to the gelato.
We at PreGel have created our own version starting from a gelato made with Riccott, our concentrated powder product with a sweet and delicate ricotta flavor.
