Collaboration between PreGel SPA and the “Nelson Mandela” High School of Castelnovo ne’ Monti, Reggio Emilia

Reggio Emilia, March 31, 2025 – PreGel SPA has launched a collaborative project with the “Nelson Mandela” High School of Castelnovo ne’ Monti, Reggio Emilia, with the goal of offering students concrete opportunities for practical learning and professional skills development.

In March, 25 students from the “Nelson Mandela” Institute participated in a series of three interactive sessions organized at PreGel’s headquarters in Reggio Emilia. Each session focused on one of the company’s three main product areas: Gelato, Pastry, and Beverage. During the sessions, PreGel demonstration technicians explained how products like gelato are made and presented the company’s product range along with their various possible applications.

This initiative allowed the students of the Mandela Institute to explore the potential of PreGel’s product lines, also acquiring valuable skills. Thanks to this experience, students were able to consolidate both their practical and theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom, actively engaging in the creation and preparation of recipes.

The initiative is part of a training program integrated into the curriculum for the Food and Beverage and Hospitality Management track, providing students with useful tools to continue their studies and pursue a professional career in the sector, contributing to their overall preparation.
